CityLeague Sports has produced the country's largest team racing program called CityLeague since 1984. Six leagues at Alpental and Summit West Ski areas are comprised of about 80 teams and over 1,000 local skiers, snowboarders and telemarkers. Our exclusive 'matched' pairings produce close, fun dual racing for all abilities.
Additionally, we have a kids CityLeague called RaceMeisters. Kids 7 to 17 years old race side by side every Friday night at Summit West Ski Area. Coaches teach racing basics but the kids learn by doing it and having fun doing it.
Chris Lewis started CityLeague in 1984 and sold it to Jack & Wendy in 2010.
Chris continued to be involved and supportive until his untimely passing in 2017.
We now end our season with the Chris Lewis Memorial race at Alpental in late March.
We hope he is still enjoying the turns & the comradery that he created.
